Princeton edges Lakota East 53-49 in critical league win

Chas Post

Princeton moved past league rival Lakota East 53-49 to pick up a critical conference win on Friday night at Viking Arena! After jumping out to a double-figure lead in the first half, the Vikings held off Lakota East's second half surge. Princeton center Daniel Jones compiled a team-best 16 points in the win, while Lakota East guard Trey Perry put up a game-high 22 points but it wasn't quite enough to complete a comeback. The Vikings improved to 5-4 in league play and snapped a recent losing skid.
