Pacers blow past Knicks 116-103 to force a decisive Game 7

The Indiana Pacers blew past the rival New York Knicks 116-103 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse! Both teams traded punches throughout the first half until Indiana went on a 15-5 run to create separation heading into halftime. Pacers power forward Pascal Siakam posted a team-high 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists to help secure the double digit victory.

Indiana was fueled by a balanced attack en route to forcing a decisive Game 7 on Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden! Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson struggled in the early stages before finishing with a game-high 31 points, while Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton racked up 15 points and nine assists in the win. In addition to having a 47-35 rebounding advantage, Indiana outscored New York 62-38 in the paint.

Haliburton reacted to the Pacers impressive performance and previewed the pivotal Game 7 in a postgame press conference: "We're just excited to get the opportunity. Where better to have a Game 7 than the Garden? We know the storied history of this rivalry and now we're adding another chapter to that!" The winner will advance to face the top seeded Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday evening.
