NFL: Super Bowl LV preview, picks
Super Bowl LV: #1 Kansas City Chiefs (14-2, 2-0) vs #5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5, 3-0): The Chiefs are coming off their biggest win since early November, a 38-24 beatdown of Buffalo in the AFC championship game. Patrick Mahomes was nearly perfect, throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns on 76.3% passing and a 95.8 QBR. Tyreek Hill caught nine passes for 172 yards. Tyrann Mathieu helped lead the defense with six tackles. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have won seven straight including three road playoff games, capped off with a 31-26 win against Green Bay in the NFC title game. Tom Brady threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns but nearly cost Tampa Bay the game with three second half picks. Leonard Fournette ran for a game-high 55 yards. Devin White was all over the field on defense, totaling a team-high 15 tackles. The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 PM on Sunday, Feb. 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Chiefs are 3.0-point favorites.
