NFL: Chiefs, Packers victorious on MNF
The Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) hosted the New England Patriots (2-2) in the first game of the Monday Night Football doubleheader. Kansas City jumped out to a 6-0 lead but led just 6-3 at halftime before pulling away for a 26-10 win, which included 14 points in a 10-second span in the fourth quarter. Patrick Mahomes had 236 yards and two touchdowns on 65.5% passing, while Brian Hoyer had 130 yards and a pick in place of Cam Newton, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week. In the second game of the night, the Green Bay Packers (4-0) remained undefeated with a rout of the Atlanta Falcons (0-4). Green Bay held a 20-3 halftime lead and won 36-20 as Aaron Rodgers had 327 yards and four touchdowns. Aaron Jones added 71 yards.
