NBA: 2022 Analytics Report 3.0

Throughout the regular season, we’re going to track how each NBA team is playing in recent games and matchups. For the report, we combined offensive and defensive efficiency, point differential, pace, strength of schedule, consistency rating, and expected win percentage. Statistics are according to NBA Stuffer. Even though the Suns (49-10) and Warriors (43-17) have remained atop the Western Conference standings, the Grizzlies (41-20) and Jazz (36-22) have closed the gap with recent winning streaks. With that said, no team has been hotter than the Celtics (35-26) since early January. Boston is 9-1 in their last 10 games and has the second-best defensive efficiency (105.6), fourth-highest point differential (+5.7) and the best expected win percentage (63.5%) in the Eastern Conference.
