Columbus High School takes down Dynamic Prep 67-49 to capture Chipotle Nationals title

The Columbus High School Explorers took down Dynamic Prep School 67-49 to capture the first Chipotle Nationals championship in school history on Saturday at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Indiana! Duke commit 2025 4-star guard Cayden Boozer was named MVP after putting up a game-high 27 points, while twin brother 2025 5-star forward Cameron Boozer finished with 11 points and eight rebounds to cap off their historic high school career.

It appeared the game might come down to the wire when it was tied 34-34 midway through the third quarter before the Explorers went on a 10-0 run to take a 48-36 lead into the fourth period. Dynamic Prep put a fight but Columbus High School was too much as they compiled 30 points in the paint and 15 points off turnovers en route to cruising to a national title. The Explorers finished the season with a 30-3 record after going 3-0 at Chipotle Nationals.

Just a day after sinking an unforgettable game-winning shot at the buzzer to clinch a berth in the championship, Boozer continued to showcase why he's considered one of the best point guards in the country. The Boozer twins are some of the most accomplished high school prospects of all-time as they won four straight Florida state titles and three Peach Jam championships before leading Columbus High School to their first ever Chipotle Nationals triumph.

"It's special and it's something that we've been dreaming about since we were freshman. Being able to finish it the right way with the group that we have is just an amazing feeling and doing it with my twin brother is a blessing," Boozer said in a postgame interview with ESPN. "I'm really excited about next year but we're going to cherish this moment right now. I was going and my teammates just trusted me so I did what I had to do to help us win."
