CFB: Week 4 preview, predictions

Penn State leaped into the top-five following a 28-20 victory over #22 Auburn, while Fresno State pulled off a major upset in a 40-37 win at #13 UCLA last weekend. BYU and Michigan State also moved up after remaining undefeated with double digit wins. We have a few notable matchups this coming Saturday night, including #9 Notre Dame taking on #15 Wisconsin for the first time in 57 years at Soldier Field in Chicago. There are also a couple other unbeaten conference matchups: Arkansas at Texas A&M and Rutgers at Michigan. According to Vegas Insider, both Alabama and Georgia are +200 favorites to win the championship. Matt Corral is a rising Heisman contender after throwing for 997 yards and nine touchdowns in three games.

Wisconsin comes in at 6.5-point favorites over Notre Dame and former Badgers quarterback Jack Coan, who has thrown for 828 yards in three wins. Texas A&M is favored by 5.5 points over Arkansas at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Aggies have won nine games straight against the Razorbacks. NC State (+10) and Rutgers (+20.5) are double digit underdogs as they take on Clemson and Michigan, respectively. One final game to keep an eye on is UCLA at Stanford as the Bruins look to rebound from the home loss to Fresno State. UCLA is just 3-12 in their last 15 games against the Cardinal. I'm predicting Notre Dame, Arkansas, Clemson, Michigan, and Stanford will cover the spread.
