CFB: Alabama seals Saban's sixth national championship

The Alabama Crimson Tide (13-0) took down 3rd ranked Ohio State (7-1) in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday, Jan. 11 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The Crimson Tide were led by Heisman winner DeVonta Smith, who caught 12 passes and 3 TD, while Mac Jones threw for 464 yards in the 52-24 win. Najee Harris totaled 158 all-purpose yards. Justin Fields totaled 261 yards for Ohio State as he finishes his college career with a 20-2 record. Christian Barmore and Josh Jobe combined for eight tackles for Alabama. With the win, the Crimson Tide clinch their 18th championship in school history, including a record third in the CFP era and a sixth under Nick Saban.
