CBB: 2022 Big Ten Power Rankings 1.0

Purdue (6-0) has looked every part of a national championship contender with recent victories against North Carolina (93-84) and Villanova (80-74) as Jaden Ivey looks like one of the best wings in the country. The Boilermakers will take on fellow undefeated Big Ten team Iowa (6-0) on Friday night. Wisconsin (Maui Invitational) and Minnesota (Asheville Championship) also won early-season championships, while Michigan State (5-2), Michigan (4-2), and Ohio State (4-2) lost in various tournament title games. It hasn't been a great start to the season for the conference as a whole, falling to the Big East in the Gavitt Tipoff Games for the first time since the event was created in 2015. After getting nine teams into the 2021 NCAA Tournament, the Big Ten will try to match that as several programs hope to adjust to inconsistent play and roster turnover.
