SOC: Bayern, PSG on collision course

The UEFA Champions League semifinals will take place this week as Paris Saint-Germain will face RB Leipzig on Tuesday, August 18 before Bayern Munich gets Lyon on Wednesday, August 19. PSG got to this point by pulling off an incredible comeback, scoring two goals in the final five minutes to defeat Atalanta 2-1 last week. Marquinhos scored in the 90th minute to tie the match before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting put PSG ahead for good with another score three minutes later. The next two days, Leipzig took down Atletico Madrid 2-1 before Bayern completely dominated FC Barcelona 8-2. Bayern took 26 shots and put 14 of them on target. In the last quarterfinal match, Lyon eliminated Manchester City by a score of 3-1. The final is scheduled for Sunday, August 23. Bayern is considered favorites to win it all.
