CFB: Micah Parsons opts-out of season
Micah Parsons, who played linebacker at Penn State over the last two years, announced his decision to opt-out of the upcoming college football season (if it's actually going to be played). According to 247 Sports, Parsons also plans to sign with agents Andre Odom and David Mulugheta of Athletes First. The 6'3 linebacker could have made a case for the best player in the Big Ten and he'll now turn his attention to the 2021 NFL Draft. Parsons compiled 82 tackles, four for loss, two forced fumbles, and 1.5 sacks as a freshman, before finishing with 109 tackles, 14.0 for loss, five sacks, and five pass deflections in his sophomore year. According to Walter Football, Parsons is projected to get drafted 22nd overall by the San Francisco 49ers. Penn State went 20-6 over the last two seasons.
