NFL: Mostert requests trade from 49ers

Raheem Mostert, one of the San Francisco 49ers' key running backs alongside Tevin Coleman, has requested a trade according to CBS Sports. The 5'10 running back is headed into his sixth season in the NFL and has played 50 games with the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and more. He had 772 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 5.6 yards per carry a year ago, exploding for four scores and 220 yards in the NFC title game victory versus the Green Bay Packers. A handful of potential landing spots include the Bears, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All four of those teams believe they can compete for a playoff spot and Mostert could be the missing piece. We think the 28-year-old will eventually ends up on either the Bears or Buccaneers.
