CBB: Kuminga announces top-five

Jonathan Kuminga, the #1 player in 247 Sports' 2021 player rankings, has announced his top-five teams on Friday, May 22 via Twitter. The five places he could end up include Auburn, Duke, Kentucky, Texas Tech, and the G-League pathway program. Many believe Kuminga has what it takes to be selected #1 overall in the NBA Draft, but it could happen in 2021 or 2022, as he might attempt to reclassify and play next year. I think the 6'8 forward is going to pick Texas Tech, and join his brother with the Red Raiders. Kuminga's older brother, Joel Ntambwe, is transferring to Texas Tech after playing with UNLV last year. It's also very possible that he could skip college basketball altogether and head straight to the G-League along with high level recruits like Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd, and Daishen Nix.
