NFL: Gronk returns from retirement
Rob Gronkowski has announced that he is coming out of retirement and will be dealt from the Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay continues to stockpile talent on offense as they give recently signed quarterback Tom Brady a very familiar target. The two won three Super Bowls together in New England. Gronkowski originally retired last year after totaling 682 yards and three touchdowns. With a year off, though, he should be healthier and will join a weapon-filled offense with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard, and Ronald Jones II. Also included in the trade, the Patriots will give up a 7th round pick and get a 4th round pick in return. It’s clear Tampa Bay is building to win this season as they have acquired Brady and Gronkowski, and re-signed veterans Jason Pierre-Paul and Ndamukong Suh.
