NFL: Brockers re-signs with Rams
Michael Brockers, defensive tackle, has re-signed with the Los Angeles Rams after originally coming to an agreement with the Baltimore Ravens. The deal with Los Angeles is worth $31.5 million for three years. According to multiple reports, the 3-year deal with Baltimore fell through because of Brockers' ankle issues. The 29-year-old signed a deal with the Ravens on the first day of free agency, but will instead be back for his ninth straight season with LA. The Rams, who went to the Super Bowl two years ago, fell short of the playoffs last season as they finished with a 9-7 record and third place in the NFC West. Los Angeles will try to bounce back but there will be changes as Todd Gurley, Michael Pierce, and Chris Wormley all left in the last few weeks. Brockers and Aaron Donald will try to continue their dominance.
