NBA: Bucks, Lakers stay at the top

1. Milwaukee Bucks (48-8, +0): The Bucks remain at the top of our rankings as they have gone 26-3 at home (22-5 on the road) and are averaging 119.7 points per game. Milwaukee, who is led by MVP frontrunner Giannis Antetokounmpo (30.0 points, 13.6 rebounds), has gone 8-2 in their last 10 games.


2. Los Angeles Lakers (43-12, +0): The Lakers stay in the second spot as they are an impressive 23-5 on the road (20-7 at home) and have averaged 114.8 points per game. Los Angeles has won five consecutive games behind LeBron James (25.2 points, 10.7 assists), Anthony Davis, Danny Green, and Kyle Kuzma.


3. Toronto Raptors (42-15,+0): The Raptors are somehow in position for the second seed in the East as they hold a 23-7 home record (19-8 away from home) and are putting up 113.3 points per night. Toronto is led by Pascal Siakam (23.8 points, 7.6 rebounds), who just continues to get better. Nick Nurse’s team is 9-1 in their most last 10.


4. Boston Celtics (39-17, +0): The Celtics have been better this year compared to last despite losing Kyrie Irving in the offseason and they have a dominant 23-5 record in Boston (16-12 outside of Boston). Jayson Tatum (22.9 points, 7.0 rebounds) has put himself in the MVP race as his team also averages 113.3 points per game.


5. Denver Nuggets (39-18, +1): The Nuggets hold the #2 seed in the Western Conference as they have are 1.0 games ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers. Denver is 22-7 at home (17-11 on the road) but they're averaging just 110.6 points per game, which is the lowest of the top-five teams. Nikola Jokic (20.9 points, 10.1 rebounds) leads the way.
