NFL: New Orleans owns Colts at home


The New Orleans Saints (11-3) have defeated the Indianapolis Colts (6-8) on Monday, Dec. 16 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Monday Night Football. The Saints had just a 3-0 lead at the end of the first quarter but they blew it open in the second quarter with a 17-0 run to lead by three possessions at halftime. New Orleans continued to pour it on, getting up 34-0 at the end of the third quarter before giving up a garbage-time touchdown in the fourth. The final score was 34-7 in favor of the Saints. Drew Brees led his team to the victory with 307 passing yards and four touchdowns on 96.7% passing. Michael Thomas added 128 yards on 12 receptions. Jacoby Brissett finished with just 165 yards for the Colts. New Orleans gets the Tennessee Titans (8-6) on Sunday, Dec. 22 on the road.
