CBB: Big Ten wins challenge over ACC
The Big Ten defeated the ACC in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge for the sixth time in 20 years. It took eight wins to accomplish the feat and it was clinched with #6 Ohio State's dominant performance on the road versus #7 North Carolina, as the Buckeyes ran away with a 74-49 victory. Other notable games were #1 Louisville beating #4 Michigan, 58-43, behind Jordan Nwora's 22 points and 12 rebounds. Right after that, #10 Duke moved past #11 Michigan State as Vernon Carey Jr. went for 26 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist. The final score was 87-75. Indiana remained unbeaten with an impressive win over #17 Florida State at home. Lastly, Purdue upset previously undefeated and the defending national champions #5 Virginia, 69-40, as Sasha Stefanovic dropped 20 points and three rebounds.
