The Triplets got off to a 4-0 start behind Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson, but they lost their most recent game to the defending champions, Power, who remain at the top of the power rankings because of the victory. Killer 3's has been a pleasant surprise after disappointing the last two years. Enemies and Trilogy are battling for the fourth slot, which is the final spot in the playoffs. With four games remaining in the year, six teams are 2-3 and just one game back of the fourth seed. That includes 3-Headed Monsters, Tri State, and 3's Company who all came into the season ranked in the top five. After a 2-1 start, Rashard Lewis and the 3-Headed Monsters have lost two in a row, while the Aliens are fresh off of a win over Ghost Ballers to bring them to 2-3. And lastly, the Ball Hogs still haven't won a game.

Joe Johnson has been far and away the best player in the league, and it's looked easy for him out here. Just like he did in the NBA, Iso Joe gets to his spot and scores it efficiently. He is averaging a league-high 21.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game while leading the Triplets to a 4-1 record. Amar'e Stoudemire, who reportedly worked out for 12 NBA teams, is putting up 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds. Will McDonald has been very impressive through the first five games of the year, despite his team struggling, as he's averaging 17.8 points and 9.0 rebounds. The MVP from last year, Corey Maggette, was injured for the first three games of the season but is now back to his normal self and has averages of 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds. Other notable players are David Hawkins, Andre Emmett, and Stephen Jackson.
