NFL: Rams Beat Chiefs, 54-51, In Thriller
The Los Angeles Rams (10-1) have beaten the Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) in one of the greatest Monday Night Football matchups of all-time. In fact, the 54-51 score was the highest scoring game in MNF history and is the very first time in league history that two teams reached the 50+ point plateau. This one will go down as a classic and for good reason. If you were watching this game, you couldn't take your eyes off the screen. QB Patrick Mahomes did all he could to keep his Chiefs in it, throwing for 478 yards and six touchdowns on 71.8 percent passing. QB Jared Goff, on the other side, kept up with 413 yards and four scores of his own. Both of these teams will get a must-needed bye before returning the following weekend.
