Top-10 Rankings:

1. Alabama (2-0, 100 Pts)

2. Clemson (2-0, 95 Pts)

3. Georgia (2-0, 93 Pts)

4. Ohio State (2-0, 88 Pts)

5. Oklahoma (2-0, 83 Pts)

6. Wisconsin (2-0, 80 Pts)

7. Stanford (2-0, 71 Pts)

8. Notre Dame (2-0, 69 Pts)

9. Auburn (2-0, 58 Pts)

10. Washington (1-1, 48 Pts)

Review: No. 2 Clemson didn't play their best game on the road against Texas A&M, but they were able to come away with a 28-26 win. And that's what matters most. QB Kelly Bryant played well, throwing for 205 yards, 70.6 percent passing, and two touchdowns. No. 3 Georgia ran away with their matchup against South Carolina. A lot of people expected the Gamecocks to test the Bulldogs and give them a run for their money, but Kirby Smart's crew took care of business. After leading 20-10 at the half, the Dawgs exploded for 21 points in the third to pull away. QB Jake Fromm had 194 passing yards in the game. No. 7 Stanford moved up a spot as well after taking down rival USC, 17-3, as the Cardinal forced three turnovers by freshman QB J.T. Daniels.

Weekly Picks:

Caleb Henderson: 7-3

Charles Post: 8-2

Chinedum Wejinya: 8-2

Tyler Taylor: 7-3

Consensus Picks:

LSU @ No. 9 Auburn

USC @ Texas

Vanderbilt @ No. 8 Notre Dame

No. 1 Alabama @ Ole Miss

No. 4 Ohio State @ TCU

Review: LSU QB Joe Burrow will face his first true road game as a starter, and it'll be in one of the most hostile stadiums in the SEC. No. 9 Auburn is favored, but both teams come in at 2-0 with a pair of impressive victories. We'll take Auburn behind QB Jarrett Stidham. USC and Texas play the back end of a home-and-home, this time in Austin, Texas. While the Longhorns looked better in Week 2 with a 28-21 win over Tulsa, it still wasn't a very impressive outing. Our experts are split 2-2 on this matchup, so we'll tentatively side with the home team. Texas wins a tight one. No. 1 Alabama and No. 8 Notre Dame may face tests against Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, but we expect them to win. In the Game of the Week, RB J.K. Dobbins and No. 4 Ohio State will slip past TCU.

Heisman Standings:

1. Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) (+1)

2. Will Grier (West Virginia) (+1)

3. Jonathan Taylor (Wisconsin) (+3)

4. Bryce Love (Stanford) (-3)

5. Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) (-1)

Review: QB Tua Tagovailoa has climbed to the top spot after throwing 228 yards in Week 2, and compiling an incredible 98.2 QBR. Tagovailoa has made Nick Saban's job easy (so far), and the sophomore signal caller looks like the best player in the country. QB Will Grier, RB Jonathan Taylor, and RB Bryce Love take up the next three spots. Taylor was our biggest riser of the week, climbing three spots after a career-high in rushing yards. Love drops down a few slots, but was still pretty good in his outing against USC. He surpassed the 100-yard mark for the first time this season, and will look to build on that performance. Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray grabs the last spot in our standings after 306 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-21 win over UCLA.
