MLB: Free Agent Predictions

After the 2017 MLB season, it's time to look forward to the offseason, which means it's that time to predict where the top free agents will land. There are a ton of big names, starting with J.D. Martinez, Eric Hosmer, Jake Arrieta, and Yu Darvish, but also a couple of sneaky good talents in Jonathan Lucroy, Brandon Morrow, Logan Morrison, and Wellington Castillo. And of course, we can't forget about international sensation, Shohei Otani, who is possibly coming over from Japan. Below are Greg Schwochow's predictions.


Infielders:

Eric Hosmer - Boston Red Sox (5 years/$130 million)

Jonathan Lucroy - Colorado Rockies (3 years/$30 million)

Todd Frazier - New York Yankees (2 years/$25 million)

Logan Morrison - Kansas City Royals (3 years/$40 million) Mike Moustakas - Kansas City Royals (5 years/$125 million)

Zack Cozart - Washington Nationals (3 years/$27 million) Eduardo Nunez - Baltimore Orioles (4 years/$36 million) Neil Walker - Milwaukee Brewers (3 years/$29 million) Alcides Escobar - Pittsburgh Pirates (3 years/$18 million) Wellington Castillo - Texas Rangers (3 years/$33 million)


Outfielders: J.D. Martinez - Arizona Diamondbacks (5 years/$145 million)

Shohei Otani - Does not come over this year.

Jay Bruce - Toronto Blue Jays (3 years/$45 million) Lorenzo Cain - San Francisco Giants (5 years/$95 million)


Starters: Jake Arrieta - Milwaukee Brewers (4 years/$112 million) Yu Darvish - Los Angeles Angles (5 years/$120 million)

Alex Cobb - Chicago Cubs (4 years/$46 million)

C.C. Sabathia - New York Yankees (1 year/$12 million)
