NBA: Gordon Hayward out 4-5 weeks
Gordon Hayward, Boston Celtics small forward, is likely going to miss the next 4-5 weeks with a Grade 3 sprained right ankle. Hayward went down at the end of Game 1 of the first round versus the Philadelphia 76ers. According to Celtics Blog, Hayward plans to "attack" rehab from sprained ankle. Boston went onto win Game 1, 109-101 behind 32 points from Jayson Tatum. Hayward had 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes in the win. The Celtics also took the next two games, and will look to sweep Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. Hayward averaged 17.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during the regular season and is a key part of Boston's eight-man rotation. We'll likely see more minutes from Grant Williams, while Hayward attempts to recover before the season ends.
