NFL: Garrett gets $125 million deal

Myles Garrett has signed a five-year contract extension with the Cleveland Browns, reportedly worth $125 million (and $100 million guarantee). The 272-pound defensive end is heading into his fourth year in the league, after being selected first overall by Cleveland in 2017. Garrett played in 10 games last year, finishing with 20 solo tackles, 10 sacks, and two forced fumbles before being suspended for his part in the Browns-Steelers brawl. He also had 13.5 sacks in 2018, establishing himself as one of the premier young defensive ends. Garrett now stays with Cleveland, who has built a solid defense consisting of Adrian Clayborn, Karl Joseph, B.J. Goodson, and Olivier Vernon. We think Browns will win at least nine games, as Garrett hits double digits sacks for the third year in a row.
