NFL: Jamal Adams requests trade
New York Jets safety Jamal Adams has requested a trade from the franchise, citing his preferred destinations as the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks. Adams officially requested the trade on Thursday, June 18. It's unclear if the Jets will trade their star safety before the regular season begins but they have not allowed him to seek a trade himself. Adams hasn't seemed like he's been happy in New York and now one of the best safeties in the league could be on the move. The 24-year-old has multiple years remaining on his rookie contract but he's expressed interest in a new deal and the Jets haven't complied. According to SportsLine, the Ravens and Cowboys are considered favorites to land Adams.
