NBA: Bogdanovic has wrist surgery
Bojan Bogdanovic, the Utah Jazz small forward, has undergone wrist surgery and will miss the remainder of the season, including the playoffs, if the NBA returns amid the coronavirus pandemic. Bogdanovic has emerged as a key piece of the Jazz's offense this year, and has taking the starting role away from Joe Ingles. If the season returns, Utah will be without their second leading scorer as Bogdanovic was averaging 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 41.4% shooting from 3-point range. He helped the Jazz earn a 41-23 record through 64 games, as the team sits in fourth place in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind the Denver Nuggets. Utah Is projected to play the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs if the season returns.
