NBA: Free Agency Predictions
Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors): Durant averaged 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists during the regular season this past year. We all know the story with Durant, he's one of the three best players in the world and his decision will have a major impact on the league as a whole. With that said, he might miss the entire 2019-20 season with an Achilles injury. Durant is likely headed to the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, or New York Knicks.

Kawhi Leonard (Toronto Raptors): Leonard was traded to the Toronto Raptors last offseason and had an incredible run in one year, leading the team to their first ever Finals appearance and championship, while earning his second Finals MVP award. He averaged 26.6 points and 7.3 rebounds with the Raptors and is arguably the most sought after player on the market. Most believe he'll either re-sign with Toronto or go to the Los Angeles Clippers or Lakers.

Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets): Irving didn't have a great year in terms of team success as the Boston Celtics went from the favorites to win the East to the fourth seed and a second round exit. Irving is still a great isolation scorer, though, and it showed as he put up 23.8 points on 48.7% shooting from the field. According to multiple reports, Irving is expected to sign a four-year deal worth approximately $141 million with the Brooklyn Nets.

Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors): Thompson is expected to get a max contract offer from the Warriors, and it was reported that the only was he would leave is if they refused to give him the maximum. Since he wasn't named All-NBA, the Warriors won't have to pay as much and it looks like he'll be back. The Lakers are interested in the shooting guard but it's a long shot. Thompson is projected to miss at least half of next season with an ACL injury.

Jimmy Butler (Philadelphia 76ers): Butler averaged 18.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists last year which was split between the Minnesota Timberwolves and 76ers. He helped lead the Sixers to the second round for the second year in a row and if he returns, they'd be expected to make another deep playoff run. It's reported that the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat are attempting to sign-and-trade for Butler, but a re-sign with the 76ers in still likely.
