NBA: Finals Preview & Predictions

Staff Writer

No. 1 Golden State Warriors (57-25, 12-4) @ No. 2 Toronto Raptors (58-24, 12-6): The Warriors are looking for their third championship in a row, and their fourth in the last five seasons, and they're heavy favorites once again. After sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers without Kevin Durant, it's apparent that there is more ball movement and offensive flow, which allows Stephen Curry (27.3 points, 43.7% three-point) to get better looks and gives more opportunities to Klay Thompson. On the other side of things, Kawhi Leonard (26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds) has been the catalyst for the Raptors. With that said, guys like Kyle Lowry and Fred Vanvleet really stepped up recently. Toronto will try to keep up with the Warriors' quick pace, while Golden State will focus on limiting Leonard's impact on offense.
