SOC: Chelsea Cuts Down Huttersfield

Chelsea defeated Huttersfield Town, 3-0, in their opening match of the Premier League, as they received goals from N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, and Pedro. Chelsea dominated virtually from start to finish and opened the year with an always appreciated three points. Chelsea was better in every major statistical category compared to Huttersfield, putting four shots on target to just one. They also held 63 percent of possession and had 88 percent passing accuracy. It was domination in every way possible and Chelsea couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season. They’re looking to earn back the title, as they won it all in 2016-17, before finishing in fifth last season. Chelsea hopes this victory will be a sign of good things to come.
