NFL: Mock Draft Version 1.0
The 2017 NFL Draft will be the 82nd annual meeting, which is set to begin with the 32-pick first round on April 27, and the remainder of the draft on April 28 and 29, which will be held in Philadelphia for the first time since 1961 when Tommy Mason was selected No. 1 overall by the Minnesota Vikings.
Here is my NFL Mock Draft Version 1.0:
1. Browns (0-12): Myles Garrett EDGE/Texas A&M
It wouldn’t be a wise move by Hue Jackson to draft “his guy” in Cody Kessler then replace him the next year. The Browns should opt to go BPA and take the best prospect in this class; Myles Garrett.
2. 49ers (1-10): Deshone Kizer QB/Notre Dame
While Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played poorly as of late, he isn’t the answer. Deshone Kizer fits Chip Kelly’s scheme with his mobility and his big frame helps as well.
3. Bears (2-9): Mitch Trubisky QB/North Carolina
Its time for 'Da Bears' to move on from Jay Cutler. While Trubisky may be inexperienced, scouts love his potential.
4. Jaguars (2-9): Jonathan Allen DT/Alabama
The Jaguars need all the help they can get, and Johnathan Allen would be a big time talent for them.
5. Jets (3-8): Leonard Fournette HB/LSU
Matt Forte isn’t getting any younger, and the Jets can’t afford to pass on a player like Fournette.
6. Bengals (3-7-1): JuJu Smith-Schuster WR/USC
7. Titans (via Rams): Mike Williams WR/Clemson
8. Panthers (4-7): Dalvin Cook HB/Florida State
9. Cardinals (4-6-1): Jabrill Peppers S/Michigan
10. Colts (5-6): Marlon Humphrey CB/Alabama
11. Packers (5-6): Tim Williams EDGE/Alabama
12. Browns (via Eagles): Teez Tabor CB/Florida
13. Saints (5-6): Cam Robinson T/Alabama
14. Chargers (5-6): Zach Cunningham LB/Vanderbilt
15. Titans (6-6): Desmond King CB/Iowa
16. Ravens (6-5): Jake Butt TE/Michigan
17. Bills (6-5): Malik McDowell DT/Michigan State
18. Buccaneers (6-5): OJ Howard TE/Alabama
19. Eagles (via Vikings): Christian McCaffery HB/Stanford
20. Steelers (6-5): Adoree’ Jackson CB/USC
21. Texans (6-5): Taco Charlton DE/Michigan

28. Giants (8-3): Royce Freeman HB/Oregon
29. Chiefs (8-3): Carl Lawson EDGE/Auburn
